NIPPER | Small Pet Door | For installation in a door up to 6 cm thick

✔️ Suitable for all cats and small dogs with a width of up to 20 cm and a shoulder height of up to 35 cm.
✔️ The passage of the flap is 20 cm wide and 24 cm high and is to be installed at about 10 cm from the floor.
✔️ With the frame included, the pet door is 30 cm wide and 34 cm high.

These pet flaps are handmade to order by craftsmen in Belgium. Made from high quality materials, these pet flaps take approximately one calendar month to be made and shipped to your home address.

The Nipper is suitable for all cat sizes (and small dogs too) and is suitable for practically all types of installation. The unique design of these handmade wooden pet flaps makes them close silently, weatherproof and look more like vents than your average cat flap! The Nipper can be installed into glass doors and windows, walls, and most other kinds of doors.

Suitable for small dogs with a shoulder height of up to 35 cm such as the Yorkshire Terrier, Shih Tzu, French Bulldog, King Charles Spaniel, Maltese Terrier, Pug, Bichon Frisé, Chihuahua. Puppies, cats, and smaller dogs can also use this pet door because they only have to open the lower slats of the flexible flap.

For an installation involving glass you would require a new replacement piece of toughened glass to be manufactured.

By law, it is a legal requirement for any glass in a door to be a safety glass and toughened safety glass cannot be cut. If you try to cut the glass, you will end up shattering the pane of glass - examples of this is when a car windscreen smashes, or you drop a drinking glass. It shatters into millions of small pieces rather than large shards of glass that can be dangerous to you and your pets.

Toughened glass has been put through several manufacturing processes that make it rigid, tough, and impervious to cutting; therefore, the hole for a cat flap needs to be cut before it goes through the toughening process as part of the manufacture of the new glass.
